Exotic Melody March 28, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have always been a faithful customer of Woodstock Chimes because of their beautiful musical tone and fine quality. The Bariton Gregorian has a little deeper tone and is a lovely contrast to the others.
Quality Workmanship, Quality Sound February 7, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Beautifully done. This was my second Woodstock chime. The melodic baritone imparts a haunting counterpoint to the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. Far superior in accoustics to anything else in my neighborhood, the sound seems to ride the wind itself...
Not quite as advertised... July 29, 2006 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
Those who buy this 56" windchime should know that the longest chime is 32"... and so it doesn't have the deep tones that Gregorian baritone implies. Baritone what? My wife likes it, so I'll keep it, but I don't think it is truth in advertising. And it's probably my first and only purchase from this maker, because I have no idea what I am buying.
Beautiful!! June 19, 2006 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
I was surprised by how big this windchime really is. If you are looking for a windchime with deeper tones to it, this is it. It sounds so beautiful. Word to the wise though, if you go to Woodstocks website and check some of the other online vendors through them, you can find it a lot cheaper!
Misleading May 23, 2006 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
Girlfriend likes it but I think ad is misleading. Listed as 56 inches long but longest pipe is only 34 inches, why not make the string 10 feet long than you could say it is 120 inches. Also listed as hand tuned but fail to say this is done by someone in China. One other thing I am not sure but I do not think the pipes are anodized but are coated with something like a varnish. June 08 and this chime has turned to junk, the wood is all warped and pealing and the pipes are falling off. This is a very low quality wind chime. Wish I could change to one star.
