Amazon.com No longer is feng shui just a technique of organizing your physical surroundings--you can also use it to harmonize your audio environment with Woodstock's calming feng shui chimes. Designed to "balance energies and attract happiness and good fortune to your home," these chimes have been tuned in accordance with ancient Chinese feng shui principals. Made in the USA from cherry wood treated to endure season after season of outdoor use, these chimes feature silver aluminum tubing and a wind catcher inscribed with a design to bring good fortune. Company founder Garry Kvistad has developed an advanced method of tuning used on every Woodstock chime: each tube is analyzed digitally with a microphone under the tube measuring the frequency, and cutters are instructed to remove just the right amount of material to produce the most precise tuning possible. The result is a purer, more harmonious sound. Woodstock prides itself on being a socially responsible company, explaining that "through the sale of our chimes we proudly support the arts, as well as many environmental and humanitarian causes." Add some feng shui to your yard or garden while contributing to the harmony of the earth. --Ariel Meadow Stallings

The picture of the chime was deceiving. What I thought was pretty glass ended up being cheap aluminum foil.
I love my chimes! June 12, 2003 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These chimes are a quality item at a reasonable price. They are very melodic and pleasant-sounding. They never seem to hit the wrong note. The ideal placement is supposed to be the Northwest corner of one's house. At our house, that would have them in the garage! They seem to be doing fine on our patio and don't disturb anyone's sleep either.
Beautiful! September 17, 2002 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love these wind chimes. They have a full, rich, pleasing sound that is neither too jarring nor fades into the background. My only complaint is the shiny, relfective inset on one side. Otherwise, this set is perfect.
This unit is "NOT" ringing my chimes September 16, 2002 5 out of 10 found this review helpful
I bought these chimes for my wife's walking path in the front of the house. Recently we had very heavy winds followed by rain. During the heavy wind storm the chimes did not even sound at all. These chimes are definitly not worth the money it cost me. If it wasn't for the cost of returning this junk, I would have sent it back the very day I took it out of the box. I can get better sound from three empty soda cans tied with string. Stay away from this one.
Woodstock Percussion Feng Shui wind chime July 6, 2001 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
I really like the wind chime because it makes a sound with even the slightest breeze. The sound is a high, lite and soothing sound. I hung it on my roof overhang by my front door.
